Reported Crop Circles for the State of Pennsylvania -

Linesville, Crawford County (July 27, 2000)

Several ‘oblong’ circular areas found in a field of primarily wheat, but with other grains mixed in; also an unspecified number of tiny 3”-4” diameter ‘grapeshot’ circles. The first flattening appeared on July 27, then additional areas were reported flattened on the 29th. Although the wheat and other grains had been flattened, the weeds in those areas remained unaffected. A 4 degree deviation was found from the center of the largest circular area as compared to the outside edge. The landowner reported that all his animals were agitated around the time of formation, but by Aug.2 when investigators arrived, their dog seemed to behave normally and suffered no ill effects when entering the site. The night before the formation was discovered, one witness staying in the house closest to the formation was awoken by a loud “buzzing” noise around 3 AM. Report of E-M effects possible being responsible for quick draining of camera batteries. Located in close proximity to several Indian mounds.

Eyewitness report only.
